New Country EP from Caitie Andreen Sure to Please

With catchy lyrics and acoustic melodies, Caitie Andreen’s new EP “These Days” is sure to be loved by audiences everywhere.

Andreen began writing songs when she was just 12 years old.  Over the years, her songwriting transformed from what she calls a secret passion.  It wasn’t until she was in her early 20’s, she decided to open up about her portfolio of songs and pursue music professionally.  She took the leap of faith, quitting her job at a news station in Dallas/Fort Worth and moving to Nashville in 2016. Since moving, she has written with some of the best songwriters in Nashville, including those who have written for the likes of Reba McEntire, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and more.

Andreen says she is influenced by the life around her, crediting her family members as her strongest role models. Andreen says her songs are inspired by real-life situations.  She wrote her song “Hit and Run” with her friend Melanie Meriney after someone hit her car during the solar eclipse and didn’t leave a note.

Andreen says she chose the songs on her EP, titled “These Days,” with intentions to be authentic and vulnerable.  She hopes anyone who might feel a little lost can listen to the record and know that it’s okay to live at your own pace.  She wants her listeners to embrace their own flaws, but also grow.

When Andreen is not songwriting or singing, you can often find her enjoying a girl’s night, supporting a songwriter friend in a writer’s round or spending time with family.  Andreen says her biggest stress relief is going on a run or hike. An adrenaline junkie, you might also catch her hang gliding from a mountain in Chattanooga or falling from the sky.

“Caitie is one of the most talented songwriters I’ve come across in Nashville in recent years,” says Dave Moody, Caitie’s Grammy®-nominated producer and Lamon label president. “She truly has an amazing gift of stringing catchy lyrics and melody together.”

You can see Andreen performing live at various venues across the South, including those located in the Fort Worth Stockyards and Music Row.  She is set for an EP tour upon release.
