George Hamilton IV Celebrates 50 Years on the Grand Ole Opry

George Hamilton IVOur long time friend and label artist, George Hamilton IV just celebrated his 50th Anniversary on the world famous Grand Ole Opry on February 6th. From his rock-n-roll beginnings in the ’50s, George hit the Country charts in 1963 with his classic country hit Abilene. He joined the Opry as a member in 1960, and released such classics asBreak My Mind, Early Morning Rain, She’s A Little Bit Country, and many others. Known worldwide as the International Ambassador of Country Music, he blazed a trail for the genre in England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Australia, and so many other countries on every continent, including his historic 1974 lecture concert visit to Russia.
