Lamon Signs Corner Cafe’ Chronicles from Mumbai, India

CCC RochelleLamon Records has proudly released the new single “Rochelle” from Corner Café Chronicles.  This alt-rock “garage” band based out of Mumbai, India features Chinmay Patkar, Sanika Shinde and Devashish Jaamb.  The trio has developed a unique, yet very familiar, sound that can easily be defined as their own.

Perhaps the band’s webpage and social media sites best reflect what drives their passion…

“As I sat down with my coffee, the ash settling to the glorious undertone of the dusky hue; surrounded by the very unfamiliarly familiar faces of artists, musicians, writers, thinkers, foragers, working men and women brought together by the embodiment of the truest of all human emotions…Music.”

In 2015, the band’s single “Sunday Rides with Rosie” was recognized by The Akademy Music Awards.  Their music review – “Corner Cafe Chronicles has a grungy, garage-band sound with smoky Jim Morrison vocals, and their new track ‘Sunday Rides With Rosie’ is a thrilling ride through the fevers of love.”

“We’re excited to be releasing CCC’s ‘Rochelle,’ says Dave Moody, President of Lamon Records Nashville.  “Their raw energy and grunge garage factor is off the charts.”
