If you find yourself wearing Dungarees, drinking out of mason jar, and swaying to the sweet sounds of a screaming fiddle, you just might be in country country. At least, that’s the way Bobby Dean sees it. Bobby’s second release, “Country Country,” off of his third album with Lamon Records can now be heard on radio stations across the country.
Bobby and Lamon Records took a different approach to choosing this single. Fans voted a month prior to the release via a Facebook poll on which song should be released next. There was an overwhelming response to the poll and “Country Country” won by a landslide. The tactic proved to be a great way to engage fans and bolster anticipation for the new single.
“I’m just so happy to be able to release another song to radio and to all my fans,” says Bobby. “I want to say ‘thanks’ for all the support that my fans and radio are giving me.”
The fan favorite describes tell-tale signs and simple pleasures of the country life. Bobby embodies the song’s themes as he himself was once a truck driver. “Country Country” is packed with relatable, often comical imagery and music video isn’t hard to visualize. Will there be one?
