Other nominees include Blake Shelton, Justin Moore, Luke Bryan, and Mark Wills. Watch for Bobby’s new album Country Country which will be released February 21st.
Lamon Records’ New Music Weekly Award nomination comes in the Country Record Label of the Year category. The Nashville-based premier indie label is celebrating fifty years in the music industry (1962-2012). Other record label nominees include Curb Records, EMI, Warner Brothers, and RCA. Headed by Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning producer, artist, and songwriter Dave Moody, the label released chart singles by Kathryn Scheldt, Kimberly Patrick, Courtney Stewart and Zach Perkins which were all tracked by NMW in 2011.
“We truly appreciate the support and encouragement from radio and music industry professionals who voted. And we’re so happy for Bobby and our label” says Moody. ”To be nominated along side such a distinguished list of artists and labels is truly an honor.”
