Producer Dave Moody has been in the studio recently recording a who's who in country music, as he's working on an album with Irish group Live Issue and George Hamilton IV with co-producer Colin Elliott. Wells Hollow, Lamon Records' new rockin' country act from New York, has a new EP releasing on June 22nd.. Featuring Wayne Andrews and Bee Thomas, Wells Hollow delivers a unique drivin' country rock foundation with hometown harmonies that wrap perfectly around the group's hit song original melodies and lyrics. Georgia female vocalist Ashlie Rae has a brand new EP releasing on June 8th. The collection features a range of country styles, including the acoustic driven "Maybe" and "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind" to the inspirational "It's Gonna Be Alright" and smokin' country track "Breathless." Ashlie will also be featured on an upcoming film soundtrack for the Elf Sparkle animated series produced by Beth Roose, in association with Elevating Entertainment. Stay tuned!

NO LIMIT KIDS: Much Ado About Middle School, the brand new motion picture by Elevating Entertainment starring Bill Cobbs and Lee Meriwether with Ashton Harrell and Celeste Kellogg, will be released this summer on DVD. The film will be screened to world-wide buyers at this year's Cannes Film Festival and Market in May. The original motion picture soundtrack CD is now available on Lamon Records.

The Far City Boys and Dave Moody Recieve 2010 Dove Award Nomination for the album "I HAVE BEEN BLESSED." The Lamon Records release has been recognized in the Best Bluegrass Album category. Other country and bluegrass nominees this year include Ricky Skaggs, Diamond Rio, Patty Loveless, Rhonda Vincent, Oak Ridge Boys, Point of Grace, Janet Paschal, Little Roy Lewis, and Jason Crabb. George Hamilton IV Celebrates 50 Years on the Grand Ole Opry
... Our long time friend and label artist, George Hamilton IV just celebrated his 50th Anniversary on the world famous Grand Ole Opry on February 6th. From his rock-n-roll beginnings in the '50s, George hit the Country charts in 1963 with his classic country hit Abilene. He joined the Opry as a member in 1960, and released such classics as Break My Mind, Early Morning Rain, She's A Little Bit Country, and many others. Known worldwide as the International Ambassador of Country Music, he blazed a trail for the genre in England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Australia, and so many other countries on every continent, including his historic 1974 lecture concert visit to Russia. Lamon Records and the Moody family congratulate our dear friend for yet another milestone in his long music career. Check out George's 50th Anniversary CD "Heritage and Legacy."
